Chic in Egg Tutorial

Hello everyone!!!

Today I thought I would share how to make this little cutie! This can be used on the side of a cake or on top of a cupcake. We are going to use it for a cupcake for my nephew's class. So super easy and its one that you can make a lot of without much trouble.

1. I used a circle cutter to cut out the egg and chicken.
Its about the size of a cupcake top.
2. I then cut out a small section of the blue egg enough
for the chicken yellow to be seen.
3. Then cut small triangles out to make the blue egg look broken.

4. I used a small circle cutter to out the wings.

5. Start with the yellow chicken body and stack
the blue egg on top. Be sure to use a little water to
glue them in place. Then glue the wings to the side with
a little hang over. Don't forget to make cuts in the wings
to get that look.

6. I used a large tip to cut the dots out to decorate the egg.

7. Glue the dots on the egg shell.
8. Cut a small orange triangle for the beak.
Glue it on with small amount of water.
9. Use a paint brush and food color or food marker to make eyes.

You are done and its ready for your cake or cupcake. I really hope the kids like these. I think they are cute!! I think these are my favorites so far. :)

Just let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help all I can. :)

Have fun and happing caking!!!
