Today is the fun part!!! That was my very first 3d animal. My sister was the one who was always good at that. I made this 3d fondant monkey with Cake Fixation's Fondant Monkey Tutorial. I changed the face a little to match my hiding monkeys in the trees. I'm so proud of my mr monkey! lol
For the name I used the Wilton cookie cutters letters
and then just cut rectangle out of another color. Glued the letters in place to the rectangle with some water then glued the name to the cake. To finish the cake I used my First Impressions
mold for the pearls. Swirled some of the dark and light brown together because I couldn't decide which one to use. Glued them in place around each tier and Its finished.
You now have a finished cake!! It looks like a difficult cake but it really wasn't! Its sure to be a hit at your next jungle themed party!! Just let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to help all I can!!!
